As recycling takes up time and money, legal regulations should also be put in place to enforce it. I believe placing restrictions (be more specific, restrictions on what?) would be a good start. Nonetheless, increasing understanding of the importance of recycling is the most critical element.

By the way, if you have to learn academic writing for an exam, it's unfortunate but necessary. Certainly some people will favour that style. However, you have probably noticed that simple, clear expression is more effective.

So after your exam, depending where you work, you may be able to forget about it, even in some academic environments.

I think simple writing is much harder but more satisfying. 🤔

The reason why I need to write academic essay is because of English Exam(IELTS). They want to see how fluent I am, so that easy, simple essay will get low score... To get good mark, I need to pay attention to accuracy of grammar, variety of vocabulary, coherence and using complex sentences.
Big words, complicated sentences must be included, that makes this exam so hard!

@Igirisujin There is a guy from YouTube, he is native and tried the test. The result was not acceptable, he only got "upper-intermediate level" on writing task. I'm sure this skill is not necessary in real life, though illustrate capacity of English usage.
