@mayumi_s Both sentences are acceptable. But #2 follows the grammar rule that says a modifier (only) must be placed AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE to the word it modifies.
In your example, “only” (the modifier/adverb) should be placed immediately before or after “twenty rupees”. This is because ONLY modifies TWENTY RUPEES.

They both follow the rule, so both are correct. — immediately before or after “me” = the grammar rule
