Hi,mikki(: So when I ask the purpose, using "why" is not rude?
- 英語 (美國)
Rudeness is usually from the tone you use when asking. Just simply asking, for example, "Why did you go to Tokyo yesterday?" Isn't really rude. But "what made you go to Tokyo?" Does sound a little more passive in my opinion. But both are completely and totally acceptable and not rude at all!
