The 1st one can be modified into '<Doing sth> makes me <adjective>', but it is usually used to talk about repetitive or common actions. For example: Listening to this song makes me sad.
The 2nd sentence is wrong because only people can be happy, so the subject of the sentence should name a person.
However, you can say, 'It is pleasant/delightful to hear that'.
