It sounds right but a little too formal? A more natural way to say it would be “ I was really bored, so I decided to watch a movie on Netflix. I found a movie that had an interesting thumbnail, so I decided to read the description and it made me want to watch it.”

It sounds right but a little too formal? A more natural way to say it would be “ I was really bored, so I decided to watch a movie on Netflix. I found a movie that had an interesting thumbnail, so I decided to read the description and it made me want to watch it.”

@idontlikemilk Great. I see. "synopsis" is a formal word. I should use "description" instead. Also I shouldn't use "whose". Thank you!

@u-1 No problem! Both “synopsis” and “whose” would fit in the sentences you wrote however they just seem a bit too formal and not as natural but for example if you are writing a paper for class or such they could be used but if you’re just talking to a friend I wouldn’t use them
