IMMIGRATION

In all advanced country, the number of immigrants has dramatically increased. This has made immigration a touchy political issue and many people continue to denounce immigration.

In spite of these facts, I am of opinion that Japan should be more lenient to accept foreign workers.

Some people claim that immigrants are to blame for falling wages.

On the contrary, however, many economists warn against such a hasty conclusion.

According to them, immigrant workers usually accept lower wages and when these profits are invested the results is economic expansion and great profits. In other words, foreign workers have a good effect on the economy as a whole.

Additionally, we have to accept foreign workers to improve ongoing depopulation.

It is obvious that the Japanese economy and society will decline if no action is taken.

Needless to say, it is for better option to encourage immigrants to remain in Japan indefinitely.

Finally, in my view, accepting many foreign workers will contribute to develop diversity in Japan. It is essential for society to accept diverse values and cultures, as people from diverse cultures contribute language skills and new ways of thinking

Considering the points mentioned above, that closed immigration policies are likely harmful to the future of Japan.

(What I have written above sounds natural?)
