I'm a little bit confused with the f-word. In dictionary, it means "have sex with", but in practical, when we say "A f**ks B", it implies an assumption that A is a male and B is a female (in the heterosexual sense). Is this right?

It is not always so literal. We can say "Bill fucks Mary" and that means that Bill penetrates Mary. But we can also say "Mary fucks Bill" to mean the same thing, because it is not always literal about who is doing which action. Both ways mean that they are having sex together, without giving any details.

So yes, sometimes "A fucks B" means that "A" is the one penetrating. But sometimes it means that "A" is the one who is more aggressive, who initiates, who starts it, who demands it, etc. So "Mary fucks Bill" could mean that it was Mary's idea to have sex, that she is the one who wants it the most, even though Bill is the one who is penetrating. This meaning is also possible.

And sometimes it does not matter. After A and B have sex together, both of them can say "I fucked him/her" to mean "I had sex with him/her". So it sometimes implies gender or position or details...but it can also just be generalized saying that they had sex together (without any details about it). So you have to look at the context to be sure about the details, because it is used in different situations.

@OwLeho Hey, thank you so much for the explanation!!! I had translated an English fiction few years ago and in the story, A says "perhaps you should fuck me" to B. I translated this sentence as something like "probably we should have sex" in Chinese, since those two characters are both male and they doesn't have actual sex in the plot, so I couldn't tell what A really means. Then today I got a comment that they thinks I mistranslated this sentence, which made me doubt myself. That's why I asked this silly question and now I can get some sleep XD.
