Human beings should find new ways to live with climate change rather than prevent it from becoming worse. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some people argue that the adaption to climate change is more important than taking measures to stop it. I completely disagree with this point of view.

In my opinion, it is absurd to argue whether people ought to take steps to prevent climate change. Human activities are the main cause of global warming. On the one hand, modern industries release a great amount of dioxide to the air. On the other hand, deforestation leads to a reduction of rainforests area, which absorb dioxide and produce oxygen. If human beings do nothing to reserve this situation, climate change will never be stoped and our living condition will never stop getting worse as well.

I also don’t think it is easy for human beings to adapt to climate changes, which may cause great disasters. However, most countries can not afford to suffer that. For example, the loss of glaciers caused by climate warming would result in a sea level rise. This means a large land area of some cuntries, such as India and Australia, will be destoryed by floods. As a result, a great deal of people will lose their habitats and even die from farmin. It is impossible for almost six billion people to live with these serious conditions. Methods, like migration to Mars, can hardly come true in about one thousand years.

In conclusion, I believe that people should not give up taking measures to stop climate change. Whereas living with climate warming is not a bad idea, it is not easy to find ways to achieve it.
