They are the same.
Say “I put on my clothes in a hurry” if you are talking.
You can say “I hurried into my clothes” if you are writing.

Hurried wouldn’t be accurate its improper and used wrong. The other person is actually incorrect it would be improper to say it that way. You’d have to construct that sentence differently.
But the meanings are the same they are getting across the same point.

@MKoKo I think you could use “hurried into” in creative writing. It would be a more colorful expression, so you wouldn’t normally speak it. I personally wouldn’t have a problem using it this way in something I wrote.
I think you could write:
I looked out the window and the barn was on fire. I hurried into my clothes and rushed out the door.
Or:
I woke up five minutes before I was supposed to be at work! I hurried into my clothes and dashed to work.
In normal talking you would just say:
I put on my clothes in a hurry.
This morning, I put on my clothes in a hurry and got my shirt on backwards.

Thank you very much. 2人とも!
There was an earthquake in Japan last night. I was taking a bath at that time. I hurried out of the bath and got dressed. If a bigger earthquake hits, I would have to evacuate.
Is this natural? I used Google Translate.

I changed two words to be a little more natural.
…taking a bath at “the” time.
If a bigger earthquake “would hit”, I would have to evacuate.

Thank you! It is also in Japanese that the time of writing and the time of speaking are different. I understand!
