since it contrasts heavily to how I usually act in person at least
B: it does, considering it would likely just expose to people that you're a theater student or you've just watched some BBC programs recently

I understand the first part now but at the second part (after the "because"), I didn't quite understand how the second part is the reason for the first part, if that makes sense.
Could it be that being a theatrical student or watching some BBC programs are the least expected from person A's character?
