Hi!
Could you correct mistakes in my speech draft?

————

topic: Are current agricultural practices sustainable?

I don’t think current agriculture practices are sustainable. Here are two reasons to support my opinion.

The first reason is global warming. Global warming changes environment negatively. Higher temperature causes more droughts and water shortages, which damages traditional farm lands. This means the way of current agriculture should be changed.

The second reason is the development of genetically modified crops. The study of genetically modified crops have been accelerated by multinational corporations and governments because they are strong, cheap, and efficient. Therefore, eventually, old agricultural styles will be undermined by mass production of GM crops in the near future.

In conclusion, for the two reasons I mentioned, I should say agriculture will be monopolised by GM crops in the future.
