"my clothes wants to catch fire" is wrong.
"My clothes want to catch fire." is correct.
"my clothes is going to catch fire" is wrong.
"My clothes are going to catch fire." is correct.

The difference is that "My clothes want to catch fire" is an English grammar rule called "personification".
It is pretending that an object is a person.
You are pretending that your clothes are a person who has emotions. "Want" is an emotion. People can want. Objects cannot want.

To be going to is used when You predict something from the signs. At thid situation, you see the fire and know that fire burns clothes.
