Hi everyone, today I came across with a topic which is extremely confusing to me, thereby, I would like to be sure about it before using the next time, without further ado, I am going to elucidate my hesitation, showing these examples
*It is my first time that I have heard something like that.
*It is my first time hearing something like that.
*It was my first time I had heard something like that.
Also I doubt if I could use (that) all the time after time or whether I might use only with past perfect, I do not know if there are a certain specific rule; furthermore, if you have some information or book about it, that would be amazing.

Your original sentences are fine except the phrase 'about something' might be appropriate if it is a broad/general topic which is confusing.
One doesn't need to say 'my' before 'first time' because you say 'I... heard' later in the sentence.
- It's the first time I've heard about something like that. (It is the first time I have heard about something like that.)
- It was the first time I had heard about something like that.
Other shorter natural sentences:
- I've never heard of that before.
- I've never heard about that before.
- I had never heard of that before.
- I had never heard about that before.
(Again, using 'about' is probably best if you are talking about a topic in general.)
- I'm not familiar with that at all. (short and natural)
