jessie married Jack here the time is not clear may be 1year before or 10year it's past tense but where as jessie got married to Jack this happened recently in near days as we giving this news to one of our friends they got married ,hope I made clear correctly :)

They mean the same thing and both sound natural depending on the context. You might say…
“Who did Jessie marry?” - “Jessie married Jack.”
Or you might say…
“Did you hear? Jessie got married to Jack!” Or “Jessie and Jack got married.”
They all mean the same thing, though.
