@Ana10115 aaaaah yes! I guess you can think of it as "lose" something/someone is usually permanent but missing something/someone is temporary? e.g. when you miss your train, you know another one will come soon so it's temporary. When you lose a friend it's generally permanent.
this can help make them easier to distinguish but with practice you will know which one to say!!!

in this context it's 'lose' not 'loose'.
If you're saying you don't want to 'lose' someone (I don't want to lose you) that means you don't want them to leave you. you want to be with them. That is similar to, I don't want to miss you. you want them with you so you don't miss them when they're gone. but "I don't want to lose you" suggests that they are leaving you for good example in a relationship when you break up with someone. compared to "I don't wanna miss you" which might mean they are gone for a bit but coming back.
i hope that helps!

@Brundeeh that really helps! I always confuse in every sentence "lose" ;) and "miss" also miss the train-lose a friend etc. that confuses me because in Spanish we have the same verb (perder something/someone) for this two verbs.

@Fadi2 I guess "miss" you use more with people and lose more with objects, right? Thank you for your reply!
