有關 英語 (英國) 的問題
I don't quite like American accent but people in China are mainly learning American English, which makes it a little bit difficult to get recourses to learn British English. So I'm trying my best to utilise TV series from UK and BBC radio to improve my spoken English. And I'm not quite sure about choosing which TV series to be my learning material——the conversation speed of Sherlock Holmes seems way too fast to me , and Downton Abbey's seems to be a little bit old-fashion (I'm not sure about this, either ). What do you think? Do you have any advice for me ? Please feel free to comment and I'll be very grateful!

'The Originals' is a mixture of British and American! But British is put on by American/Australian actors so yeah...

Unless your accent in English is so thick that people have difficulty understand you, why not keep a lil from it? English speakers may find your foreign accent hot. You never know. Check out Meryl Streep. She is scary good in faking British accent.

I don't recommend this, but if you want to hear REAL British conversations, search youtube for "The Jeremy Kyle Show". You can find a whole lot of everyday average British people talking, shouting, arguing...

Thank you all for answering! I will check out the shows and TV series you guys recommended. Actually I'm not going to change my accent a lot and, for me, it's unlikely to speak English without Cantonese accent. But I've been hoping to improve my speaking fluency and to make my expressions sound natural, which is why I'm asking for advices on choosing BrE learning resources. And again, thanks a lot！ :)
