Does "~てしまう" mean "something is against one's will"?
In this context "最近業務に慣れてきてすぐ終わってしまう(*)ので、空き時間に眠たくなります", why did the fact "finishing the task quickly" go against the author's will?
Isn't it a good thing?

Context:
今日の仕事はスムーズに終わりました。最近業務に慣れてきてすぐ終わってしまうので、空き時間に眠たくなります。

this sentence means "though I thought it took long time to finish the work, but (against my will),finish it in a short time. So,I have vacant time, feel like slpeeping"

it is good thing that work is finished soon, but it's not good that he feel sleepy in a vacant time

最近業務に慣れてきて、すぐ終わるので早く家に帰ることができてうれしい。
in this case, not say 終わってしまう。

That is, after the work finished, if something UNHAPPY had happened (feel like slpeeping), should say "終わってしまう", and if something HAPPY had happened (go home early), not say "終わってしまう".
Is it correct?

ps. In the Ex. "最近業務に慣れてきて、すぐ終わる(*)ので早く家に帰ることができてうれしい"
Can "終わるので" be replaced with the PAST tense "终わったので"?

最近業務になれてきて、きのうは仕事がすぐ終わったので早く家に帰ることができてうれしかった。
in this sentence, すぐおわったので is correct because it's the past tence.

I notice that a TIME attribute "きのう" is abbed to the new example sentence "最近...、きのうは仕事がすぐ終わったので...", so this sentence described a completed activity, "終わった" can be used.
And in the previous example "最近...、すぐ終わるので早く家に帰ることができてうれしい", there is no time attribute, it describe a current state of being, so it is appropriate to use the PERSENT tense "終わる".
Is it right?
