Normally, the 'condition' of taking your place is getting the exam results that the university wants you to get. Whereas these lucky students will be accepted for admission without conditions, or 'unconditionally'

it means that the universities have agreed to accept the students regardless of the results they get in their school leaving exams. (normally, a university would require a certain score -- say an A grade in Maths, B in Physics, B in French -- from a student before they could take a place).
