Does this sound natural in English?
Does this sound natural in English?
I received a pair of M40X headphones as a gift about a year ago. It's an incredible headphone but the earpads that it came with are very unconfortable to the point that they cause pain for long term usage. I've been looking for earpad that resemble more the material that plush toys are made of and couldn't find anything in Romania but in the weekend I finally found a company that sells velvet pads for this model.

@leslieking "I've been looking for earpads that resemble the material that plush toys are made of and couldn't find anything in Romania, but on the weekend I finally found a company that sells velvet pads for this model.".
Again, almost perfect. :)
"earpads" instead of "earpad", because you are looking for more than one.
You don't need "more".
"on the weekend" instead of "in the weekend", because you are talking about a period of time rather than a place you are inside of.
Then some punctuation to split up the long sentence.

Headphones is always a plural word, it's weird. I hope this helps.

@Spiraljunkyy Thank you. Does this work?
I received a pair of M40X headphones as a gift about a year ago. I modified the text meanwhile. I used "material that plush toys are made of" instead. Can you recheck it? I would very grateful.

@leslieking If spoken, yes. But if written you should use an embedded clause. It would still make sense without this, but it is more natural this way.
"I received a pair of M40X headphones, as a gift, about a year ago."
