if you are going for a more formal approach then yes you can use this. But, if you are trying to be more on casual then I suggest: "Teachers' Day is coming. I plan to fetch some flowers and give them to my teacher."

Not really. It can also be used when you want to get something. For instance, "I am going to fetch us some water."

“Fetch” can be used to mean “get”, but it’s not commonly used this way in the US. I have heard it more often among British English speakers.
“Let my teacher have them” sounds unnatural here. It almost makes it seem like you’re a bit reluctant to give them to her. I would say:
Teachers’ Day is coming. I intend to buy some flowers and give them to my teacher.

@bsloan7 Thank you! Can you say “... and send them to my teacher”? Would that mean I won’t hand give my teacher the flowers but send them by express?

@handsomeish Yes, if you say “send them to my teacher”, that means you wouldn’t be handing them to her yourself. You’ll have them delivered.
