1. This is my colleague, David. He will help me with your CT scan today.
2. Can you tell me your full name, date of birth and address? Whereabouts on your body are you expecting the radiation treatment?
3. Do you have a pacemaker?
4. Please lie on the bed.
5. Please don’t help me and try to keep still. I am going to correct your position.
6. Ok. We are ready to do that CT scan now. Please don’t move. We can see and hear you at all times. If you need us, call out and we will come in. The scan will be done in a few minutes.
7. All finished.
8. I am going to make 3 small dot tattoos on your body. Is that okay? These dots help us replicate this position accurately everyday for you’re treatment.
9. Your first appointment will be next Monday at 2:30pm. Please arrive at 2:20pm.
