A better way to say it would be something like: "I'm not sure, but, compared to us, it is not as important to them to meet a deadline." - Here, I just rearranged your original sentence.
"I'm not sure about them, but I don't think meeting a deadline is as important to them as it is to us." - Here, I changed things around to make it sound a bit more uncertain (if that's what you were going for.)
