"THOT" or "thot" is a slang insult that stands for "That Ho Over There".

"Ho" (sometimes written as "hoe") refers to a slut, prostitute, etc.

I don't know of any other uses of the term "thot" and this usage is not very common either.

It is not a respectful way to talk about women. If you use this expression you might be perceived as a sexist person.

@tingatinga The episode of Maury was about a mother looking for her son's baby daddy. When they were introducing him, he kept on calling her a thot. The DNA results showed that he was the father.

@Beyond: like I said....it's a terrible way to describe a human being. Most especially, the mother of your child. As you know, some people in TV shows like Maury are the worst examples of human behavior:(

@tingatinga Agree. There was this one episode where the teenagers were beating up their mothers and little siblings. The police officer took them all to this jail; it was like an episode of Beyond Scared Straight, you know.
