it's best to seperate into two sentence. I left a memo for her. it's to inform about the news. or it's about the news.

I understand what you're trying to say. You would instead say 'I left a memo to inform her about the news.'

Not sure if it's correct, but it's what I would say.

The memo does something for her. You can separate it, or change it to: "I left a memo to inform her about the news."
