They are different ways to say the same thing.

@mana0907: The first one has a more neutral feel to it.. usually you ask it this way when you're unsure of the answer.
While the second one is leaning more towards "I already know you went to Scotland last year but I want to confirm it again.."
I hope that makes sense. :)
