I wonder what American people think about Asian people. I want to go to America for exchange student but some of my friends who have been to America said that people laughed at them and treated them really bad.😖 I'm a shy girl so I think maybe I can't get along with American students....

@yunnsu well, I'm not an American, but my opinion is that laughing at any kind of people is a shame and it will always exist. So just try not mind about those bad people and do your best to get their respect. If even after they don't respect you, ignore them, because they are not important at all. On the other hand, I'm sure that there will be nice people to like you as you are. :)

I actually think Asian people are nice to be around! I have a few Asian friends and we go to class together.
I don't think you have to worry about not getting along with American students! This could sound strange, but recently I like to talk to my friends from Asia more than my friends from America.

I really depends on where you go. unfortunately some people think it's okay to make fun of Asian people's accents but most people will be friendly

People I met there are kind to help. The thoughts worries you should not scare you. Cause not everyone is English person. it just need times to familiar with things, and not everything matters.

not so much British accents are very common in American media so people are pretty used to it.
