If the electricity just went out from bad weather or for no reason at all you could try ''Our electricity went out.'' or ''The electricity is off.'' or ''The electric is out.'' or ''The power is off.'' or ''The power went off.'' or ''The power is out.'' or ''The storm knocked the power out.'' or ''The power is off from the storm.'' or ''The snow/ice might have broken a power line, the electricity is out.''
If it's because the bill didn't get payed you could try ''I forgot to pay the bill, they shut the electricity off.'' or ''You forgot to pay the bill and they shut the power off.'' or ''The power is out, did we forget to pay the electric bill?'' or ''The powers out, because we didn't pay the bill on time.''
