Correct, and also true (I'm from Scotland 😂😂)
A lot of people from Scotland have thick accents and use strange slang (I don't do this but some others do), so it can be hard to understand them if you're not from the country. It's usually older people that do this though, most young people don't have strong accents and don't use much Scottish slang.

@sango: I've never been misunderstood by people in other countries, but I have a very weak accent. Some Scottish people are very hard to understaffed though 😂😂
Where I live, the accent is a little similar to Japanese. For example, we pronounce "r" (sounds such as ら、る、れ、etc) the same as Japanese people.

@sango: Yeah, you know in Japanese 「ら」sounds like "ra" and "la" at the same time? A lot of Scottish people pronounce the letter "r" the same way 😂

@blairc123 Many Japanese people pronounce 'r' as 'l', so there are some funny story; "Please bring me ライス(lice)".

Ahahahahah 😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah, I've heard people pronounce it as "l", but I was told that it's very feminine and I should say it the other way. Plus I don't want lice from the store 😂😂😂😂😂😂
