Please correct in writing.
I like in-person communication better than online communication. Because online communication has a serious defect. It cannot convey non-verbal information. We can see neither the facial expression nor the body gesture of our friend when we are talking with. This may create a misunderstanding between us that could even lead to corruption of our friendship. So I like in-person communication better than online communication.

That sounds great, the only change I would suggest is to say "whom we are talking with" instead of "when we are talking with."
