I would recommend:
"Her due date is coming up, so she's been moody lately."
Your sentence sounds like something from a video game, to be honest. lol :P

@geen Yes. They are both different adjectives. 'Edgy' has actually evolved a lot in the last couple of decades and now most often means that something is "dark, angsty, moody, prone to lashing out, sharp, violent".
The evolution of language is confusing, I'm sorry! Rather than edgy, if you want to express that someone is scatterbrained or nervous, I would just use those adjectives instead.
