please don't feel all Americans do drugs, are in gangs and have sexual relations with just anyone. all the time. many of us are smart people who work hard, value their families and try to treat others with respect and kindness. TV makes things look worse than what it is.

these days lots of people have been watching shows like Empire, Grey's Anatomy, Big Bang Theory, and any of the reality TV shows like Dancing with the Stars

Some TV shows are okay, but it is best to know that not all Americans are like the TV. The culture is exaggerated on TV. You might be able to learn more through social media accounts, YouTube channels, finding American people near you. :)

America is a very big country. People in the South are very different from people in the Midwest, East Coast, West Coast... TV shows are mostly filmed in New York or Los Angeles so they don't show American culture that well. Find some YouTube vlogs where people just talk about their daily lives.

I would read articles a lot of shows are just acting so you need to find a correct show btw not everyone in America is like a certain person in that show
