Get across the other side of the bridge and take the first left. 是什麼意思

Does this speaker expect the driver to go over the bridge, or is it okay for the speaker no matter which course the driver take as long as he can get to the other side of the bridge?

@Akan: Both points are correct, the speaker both expects and doesn't mind how the driver gets to the other side of the bridge.

i think the speaker is just suggesting the easiest route, in this case they are saying go across the bridge first then turn left. This doesn't mean that this is the only route, but it is the one being suggested.
