If you mean more "colloquial" versus "grammatically correct," then I would say, "I'm going to a Valentine's party this Saturday. Would you like to come?" Otherwise my previous phrase is still correct if you wish to conserve the style of the original speaker. "Would you like to join me" is just more polite.
