@ja6olx Ok, ratios are typically written as vertical fractions: AB/AC = BP/PC, in which case it would be read "A B over AC equals B P over P C". If you use the division symbol, I guess you could say "A B divided by A C equals B P divided by P C", but that would not be standard. At least it wasn't standard in my school days.
