As time went by, global warming has become a highly controversial issue. Many people share the view, that the government must allocate resources to address this problematic, whereas others argue that investments in the environment will mean a waste of money.
First of all, damages in the environment not only do they cause more and more animals and plants in danger of extinction but also the hole in the ozone layer is increasing due to the indiscriminate use of gases.
By contrast, a few scientists and politicians believe that this is a natural process and we don’t have to worry about it. However, from my point of view, it is crucial that government, companies, and society work together to lessen the damages mankind could cause.
In conclusión, I would say there is no doubt that all countries do need to consider strong measures that allow increasing awareness in society about the changes that are suffering our planet and how dangerous it could be. People must know what they can do in order to contribute to improve this situation and let a better planet for future generations.

(Problematic is a adjective problem is the noun version. At this point the idea is complete and the sentence is ended with a period.) However, (Whereas could work but however sounds better. As far as I know the ozone hole is no longer expanding. For this you would use the past tense, like this: Due to indiacriminate use of gases in the past , humans caused a hole in the ozone later to expand. If you choose to say it's still happaning, say:) Because of humanity's indiscriminte use of gases, even the atmosphere is affected. This can be seen in the increasing size of the hole in the ozone layer. 
(To use 'by contrast' state the idea that being compared.) In contrast to the climate deniers, few scientist and politicans think global warming is a natural process. Instead, many believe that the world should be concerned. (Don't use "However" here as it implies that you are going to disagree.) From my point of view it is crucial that governments, companies and society as a whole, (Just added for flow.) all work together to lessen the damages of mankind. (Keeping to one tense delivers a stronger message.)
