In recent days, I got the same question from foreign tourists,that is "Why do Japanese people work so much?" but I am wondering why they thought so, or still wondering if it is just a biased image or the reality. Just give me any comment in regard to this proposition.

Reality.
My friends often work 10 hours a day. If it was once in a while, I would think it's just overtime because there is more work than usually, but it seems to be a regular thing.
More often than not, they are also too busy because of work to make time for their personal lives.
