There is one big difference. You could start a sentence saying 'Also, please remember to bring a gift." But it is incorrect to say "Too, please remember".
When you end a sentence or clause, they are used the same. "I want to go, also!" And "I want to go, too!" Are both correct, but people use 'too' more
