I know these phrases but I'm not confident to use them correctly. And I'm wondering how different it is from ”It's better to do”.

Good question! Slight differences in informal speech. I believe "might" is slightly more common and implies greater uncertainty... but I don't think the majority of English natives notice a difference.
"I'm going to the store for ice cream, might/may as well pick up dinner." Either will convey the same meaning.
Using "it's better to do" is more direct and authoritative.
"If you're going to the store for ice cream, may as well pick up dinner." This leaves the decision to the person going to the store, which is considered polite.
"It's better to pick up dinner while you're at the store getting ice cream." This is telling the person to pick up dinner and ice cream.

You may as well and you might as well are used to make suggestions but usually where you want to make the best of a bad situation or take advantage of an opportunity.

@daflyingamandaf: Your two examples would tell me the slight difference between them, wouldn't it?
@myisha: I got it that both mean the same and it does mean ”suggestion”, right?
@himunki: Well discribed what I wanted to know, and I'd mark your answer the best!
