Nowadays celebrities are more famous for their glamour and wealth than for their achievement,and this sets a bad example to young people. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In modern world what is achieved by famous people is less important than their reputation and money. There are several reasons why I completely agree with this statement that this would affect the young badly.
First this approach can disrupt the teenagers who wish to be popular and rich as celebrities. These young people may skip school or college to follow their patterns to gain money or popularity, while they may not be gifted in these majors. It is more likely that such people attain nothing, and just waste their time and money. If such followers care about that the famous have done, they will be more successful in the field that they are talented. In brief, caring about luxurious living of celebrities may collapse the future of young people who follow such popular people.
In same way, it would have severe consequences for Society. In a community where almost all people care about money, the other ethical concepts such as helping the pool will be forgotten. In addition, new generation may try whether legal or illegal ways to acquire money and reputation. This could lead the young to commit crimes. For example, last year in Iran a teenager killed his friend unintentionally when he was filming to share on social networks and rise his followers. These examples clearly show that society will face new issues if we just care about wealth and popularity of celebrities.
In conclusion, caring just about Wealth and popularity of famous people, in my opinion, can lead both the young and new generation to serious problems. It would be but better to introduce the efforts and struggles that these people have done to attain success.
