"get" means "become" here. "get better" can mean either "become healthy" (recover from illness), or to improve one's skill (e.g. "get better at drawing"). In either case, "get better" sounds best to me.
"be" essentially means the same thing but is passive rather than active. While acceptable here, is more appropriate when talking about one's emotions/reactions in the future:
"I will be disappointed if you don't come with us."
