Because a bus has windows on both side, is "window sides" correct?

"Please" is better than "I ask"
But if you want to be more firm, you could use "we ask." This implies that the bus company as a whole is setting the rules and it is better received.
As far as side or sides, I'm not sure, but I have a feeling that "side" is sufficient and it's not confusing.
